A three day foot race through the Great Rift Valley in Ethiopia will take place 17-19 February 2010 .

Participants will run a 120 km stretch of the Great Rift Valley, through dramatic, remote southern Ethiopia. (maps)

This challenging race has the full support of the Ethiopian institutions.

The highest point of the course is 1800m and the average altitude during the course is 1600m.

Temperatures are between 15 and 35 centigrade. Rain not expected

Medical assistance and aid-points provided throughout the race, as well as overnight shelter. Participants are responsible for their own food and equipment for the three days they are running.
